We make web banner designs (and, I must add, we're good at it). We take a rather limited format and we use all our creative power to convey the message you want us to deliver. You give us abstract notions, concepts and sources of inspiration and we shape a banner that's suitable for your marketing needs - for an affordable price!
it's a sweet deal, isn't it?
We offer you creative solutions, the know-how of our designers, multiple options to choose from and killer prices. I ask once again: It's a sweet deal, right?
With that in mind, care to explain me why the hell things don't flow as smoothly between your company and this company?
Modern Life in a Nutshell
Life is complicated already. You wake up and, as soon as you regain consciousness (probably after the first two cups of coffee or after taking a shower), the day reveals itself in the shape of a batallion of problems blazing spears towards you. It's a common experience to all of us: we are NOT morning people, yet we have to cope with that in order to get things done.
What I'm trying to say here is that, well...
As much as our designers here want to offer you the best solutions for your marketing campaign, they also have as many issues as you or I do.
A Day in the Life (of a designer)
- Wake up
- Check your email (in order to regain a sense of belonging to society)
- Take a shower (optional)
- Get breakfast as soon as possible
- Rush to the office
- Mingle with your co-workers
- Have coffee
- Sit down in front of your computer
- Read the customer's original concept. Sneer in contempt, knowing that you can create a better design that will astonish your customer
- Reality check, acceptance of reality: the customer's always right
- Revise, correct and show the manager what you have worked on
- Revise, correct, ram head against graphic tablet repeatedly. Engage into violent fantasies against manager
- Struggle against creative cul-de-sacs
- Have more coffee
- Beg for approval from the manager
- Finally getting approval for the banner's draft
- Minor corrections, rendering
- Meeting with the manager, where he informs you that the customer wants to make 180° changes to the original concept
- Ram head against keyboard, tablet, desk. Apply. Repeat until early evening.
- Go home, have dinner, go to bed full of frustration and pent-up anger. Have dreams about manager's horrid demise.
A Helping Hand
Life is not an easy deal. It's full of choices, concerns, Acts of God and lots of ways to waste time. Look: we can offer you memorable ways to get your company on the map, but we can't swerve every time you overlooked something "cool" or "important" to add to a banner. We can't make the next "Citizen Kane" with three limited screen nor make your banner a portal to summon Ctulhu to intimidate your prospects into buying your products or services. All we can do is great banners. Beyond that, you're on your own, pal...
What you can do is: ORGANIZE YOUR CAMPAIGN. Have your copy, your image and a clear concept of what you want to see on your banner. Think of the essential information you want to include (name of the company -duh!-, information about your product, calls to action and such...), take your time to stablish the screen order if your banner is animated, have your PPC facts by your side and, mostly...
Deliver this information TIMELY to the designers!
Life is Swell!
Having an understanding about dedlines, times and conditions with your design company will make the process of creating a web banner a smooth ride. Don't be afraid to ask, mostly before paying for a product. It's not that we don't condone changes, but having a strategy and going through the essential points of your campaign will save you time (that you will invest on spreading the gospel about your company).
That way, you'll get fast and desireable results and our designers will be happy designers. It's a win-win situation.
