The seaon demands hardcore strategies that show that we are going to merry the living daylight out of them  How to keep their interest while keeping a decent amount of traffic to ou websites?

There's not an easy answer to that.  Sometimes, they fin themselves thinking of hiring people disguised as Santa Claus to promote their products.  How many times has this been done (please, pay no attention to our icon.  Banner Hero was just feeling a bit feisty)

Sometimes they find themselves thinking how to add the vibe of the festivities to their Social Profile campaigns.  What to do?

1.  Use Holidays-related keywords in your contents.

It might sound obvious to you, but it's better to be safe than sorry.  People have nothing but the holidays in mind and they're looking for sales, events, seasonal recipes and whatnot.  Using keywords that relate to this time of the year shows that you keep your social profile up-to-date and it makes things easier for search engines.

2.  If you have any sales or offers related to the Holidays, show them first.

There is no point on having a killer offer if you don't share it.  Always bear in mind that one of the biggest PR-related affairs on Social Profile marketing is to spread the rumor to create word-of-mouth publicity.  If you display your offers, chances are that the word will be spread and that translates into more business chances.

3.  Pimp up your profile for the Holidays!

A seasonal layout design attracts sights.  Coming up with something original and fancy gives people something to talk about.  Make it amusing, worth to remember.  I think we're ready to create memorable online contents in the same way some stores and shopping malls spend a small fortune on decoration.

4.  Why not to add a Wishlist to your profile?

People (young ones and grown-ups) always has a Wishlist for the season.  Give them the chance to share their wishes with others.  It gives you the chance to know what customers are looking for and creates a space for users to interact in a whimsical way.  Who doesn't like to talk about their dreams and hopes for the future.

5.  Keep a Countdown Clock/Calendar

It is exciting to see how much of the year is left.  Having some kind of a countdown device would create a sense of urgency and pressure, so people hurry up with their December shopping.  Why not to create a calendar or a watch that keeps score of the days before the Holidays?

There you go:  a list of tips to get people clicking.
